Sender addresses and domains

The from name is what readers see first. Use your publication's name, not a person's name, unless the newsletter is written by one person.

The from address must be on a domain you have verified. On StalkMail Cloud, a newsletter without its own domain sends from a shared address.

Open Domains, add the domain or subdomain you want to send from, and create the DNS records it lists. Click check, and StalkMail verifies them.

A verified domain usually takes a few minutes. DNS changes can take longer to propagate.

Set a reply-to address that a human actually reads. Readers reply to newsletters more often than you would expect, and a real answer builds trust.
